JOB SUMMARY:
Develops teletherapy and patient treatment plans. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range in assigned clinical area.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger Health System in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Works under the general supervision of theDirector of Physics.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Radiation Therapist, graduate of CAHEA approved program, who has passed the board
examination of the A.R.R.T. and is eligible to use the letters R.T.T required
OR
Graduate of a recognized medical dosimetry program and certified by A.A.M.D., or eligibile to sit for exam, required.
Additional training through on-the-job experience or through a recognized program in medical dosimetry required.
Certification by A.A.M.D., or eligibility to sit for exam, required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal hospital environment. Occupational levels of radiation exposure. Lifting and
positioning patients, and treatment accessories.

GEISINGER-LEWISTOWN HOSPITAL: is a 123-bed acute care community hospital serving the 80,000 residents of Mifflin and Juniata counties and members of the contiguous counties of Centre, Perry, Snyder, and Huntingdon. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
