Job Summary :
Partners with Corporate Communications leadership and team members, Operations Managers, Vice Presidents, physician leaders, facility leaders and others to plan, strategize, direct, and execute public relations and communication plans designed to protect and enhance the Geisinger brand (Quality and Innovation, Market Leadership, and The Geisinger Family), support efforts to increase market share and achieve overall operational goals.
Responsible for working cooperatively Geisinger Media Team to develop and produce communications materials in support of Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and the Western region, but also other regions as necessary.
Serves as part of the media team for Geisinger and rotates into the on-call schedule.
Reports to the Vice President of Media.
Competencies and Skills:
Solid, demonstrated understanding of corporate communications, including public relations and marketing. Ability to think strategically and creatively. Ability to organize and manage complex initiatives concurrently. Professional demeanor and attitude. Ability to create and maintain budgets. Demonstrated excellence in oral, written and electronic communication skills. Able to produce and interpret return on investment reports.
Education and or Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Interactive Technology, Marketing, New-Media or related field, plus minimum of three years of experience. Must be familiar with both social and new media.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is typically performed in an office environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
