Operations Manager, Life Geisinger

JOB SUMMARY: Provides oversight and leadership to LIFE program overall operations including interdisciplinary team function, adult day services, clinical services, social work, activity programming, food service, transportation and facility management. Operations Manager provides support and supervision to Center Managers at each LIFE Geisinger site. Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies including but not limited to PA Department of Aging, Office of Long Term Living, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.   Reports to the Director, LIFE Geisinger, Geisinger Community Health Services. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and financial management skills, ability to work in a team environment. Working knowledge of geriatrics and continuum of Long Term Care, 24-hour delivery systems, and managed care.   Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication, organizational and problem solving skills.   EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:   Bachelor Degree in Health Administration, Business, Nursing or other related clinical field required.   Minimum of five years experience in health care management required. At least one yearexperience in working with the elderly is required. Experience in the field of geriatrics, community based healthcare delivery or managed care is preferred.   WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   Work is typically performed in an office environment. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania drivers license and car available for work. This position is considered light in nature as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor. This position is classified as exposure category III concerning occupational exposure to the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the human immunodeficiency (AIDS).  52576

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
