Configuration Engineering and System Manager

Position Function:  Responsible for managing the day to day activities involving configuration and engineering systems.  Manage and provide direction to a team of configuration rule-writers, technical analysts and data analysts.  Participate in a cross-functional Team that owns the action plan to deliver new commercial vehicular access doors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities o Capable to develop new product configuration or make changes to existing product configuration based on inputs from product engineering, data analyst, IT, manufacturing, product management and pricing. o Capable to read engineering documentation or drawing and translate that to data for Infor configuration. o Working knowledge of Item Master, Bill of Material, Routing Systems o Working knowledge of Oracle master data management. o Working knowledge of integration with Drawing systems (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) o Capable to develop quantitative cost/benefit analysis to measure product development effectiveness or process improvement effectiveness. o Thorough understanding of problem solving techniques by pulling together data, ideas, issues and observations into a clear and useful format, by utilizing analytical techniques. o Capable to lead a team Data Analyst, and Technical Analyst. Skills/Experience Requirements o Must have thorough knowledge of Product Configuration systems. 5 to 10 years experiences with configuration systems, preferably SAP, Oracle or Infor. o 10+ years experiences in door or related industry with focus in product configuration. o Knowledge of mechanical engineering and product development principles and practices. o Computer literate in MS Office products o Good written and oral presentation skills - for both internal groups as well as clients and trade groups/ seminars o Flexibility and adaptability o Action and results oriented Education Requirements Bachelor of Science in information system or information technology or engineering. Physical/Work Environment Requirements o Normal office environment. o Moderate travel - 20-30% 9113

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
